Agents of Change: Advocacy Adventures

Liftoff! Rocket Engineering

-- June 21 - 9:00am-3:30pm - 5th - 8th Graders -- Students will engage in fun and creative engineering design and problem solving as they construct a simple bottle rocket from bottles, cardboard, and other materials, powered by air pressure and water. After design and buildout, we will launch our rockets outside!

-- June 24-28 - 1:00pm-4:00pm - 5th - 7th Graders -- In this fun engineering design challenge, students will be competing to build the strongest toothpick bridge that also meets specific design requirements! Following research, design, and building, we will test the bridges to see who built the strongest bridge!

In this action-packed camp, junior detectives will embark on a globe-trotting quest to help Herky recover stolen Hawkeye gear from around the planet.
