Welcome to Agents of Change, where young activists embark on an inspiring journey through the annals of history to explore the power of social activism. In this dynamic and engaging camp experience, participants will dive deep into the stories of courageous individuals and movements that have shaped our world through advocacy, protest, and positive change. Throughout the camp, participants will engage in a variety of interactive activities, discussions, and workshops designed to deepen their understanding of social issues and inspire them to become changemakers in their own communities. From learning about pivotal moments in history, such as the Civil Rights Movement and the fight for gender equality, to exploring contemporary issues like climate change and LGBTQ+ rights, campers will gain valuable insights into the strategies and tactics employed by activists throughout the ages. Through hands-on projects, role-playing exercises, and collaborative action planning, participants will emerge from Changemakers empowered to make a difference in the world around them and create positive social change. A great opportunity to recognize and celebrate Juneteenth!
