Are you ready for a day filled with thrilling adventures and creative fun? Join us for an unforgettable kids camp where you’ll discover if a spider can be both scary and cute! In partnership with Beadology Iowa, we’re offering an exciting day of crafting, design, and downtown exploration!
Start your day at Beadology Iowa, where you’ll dive into the magical world of 3-D glass bead design. With Czech pressed glass beads and wire, you’ll follow a step-by-step tutorial to create your very own spooky yet adorable spider sculpture. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Let your imagination run wild as you design your own unique bug, becoming a master beadologist and crafting one-of-a-kind art pieces.
After unleashing your inner artist, the adventure continues with a series of interactive activities that will boost your teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills. Get ready for a Downtown Iowa City Scavenger Hunt, where you’ll race through the ped mall, complete exciting challenges, and put your critical thinking abilities to the test.

- July 29-31 - 9:00am-3:30pm - 5th - 8th Graders - Welcome to History Unscripted, where the past comes alive through the power of improvisational theater! In this unique and immersive camp experience, participants will embark on an exciting journey through history, exploring key events, figures, and eras through the art of improv.
Seismic Solutions: Earthquake Engineers
- August 2nd - 9:00am-3:30pm - 5th-7th Graders - Embark on a seismic journey in earthquake engineering, where students explore the art of crafting resilient structures through hands-on experimentation! Students will design, build, and test structures on a shake table simulating an earthquake!
World Geography: The Eras Tour Edition – UI Swifties
- July 22-26 - 9:00am-3:30pm - 4th - 8th Graders - We've got a Blank Space, so come write your name! Join us for a week-longe adventure as we journey across the globe, following Taylor Swift's iconic Era's tour. From exploring landmarks while diving into the geography, learning about local cuisine, culture, and language, this camp promises to ignite your passion for future travels.

Creative learners will delve into a multitude of stories and writing styles, craft mythological tales, and top it all off with a student created play and performance!
