Join us for an exciting day of adventure and learning at the Yotopia Leadership Lab! We will start the day with an exclusive tour and experience at Yotopia, Iowa City’s favorite frozen yogurt shop. We will learn from Veronica, Yotopia owner, about the journey of small business ownership, and join her in working on the day-to-day operations that have helped make Yotopia a success! This will include exploring customer service skills, maintaining the store space, food prep, and of course, finish up with tasting the froyo! 

In the afternoon we will build on this experience by engaging in fun and interactive activities designed to enhance teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills. These activities will challenge you to think creatively and work effectively with your peers. We will finish with a Downtown Iowa City Scavenger Hunt. Teams will navigate through the ped mall, complete challenges and test their critical thinking abilities! Don’t miss this chance to experience the thrill of entrepreneurship and the joy of teamwork while exploring Yotopia and Downtown Iowa City!

Early drop (8:15-9) and Late (3:30-4:15) pickup available for this class for $15. 

Students will bring their own lunch. Snack will be provided in addition to a Yotopia treat!
