No-School Day Camp – Friday, April 3

Spend the day exploring downtown Iowa City through creativity, movement, and hands-on community experiences!

Downtown Discovery: City Snapshots & Slices invites campers to look at the city in new ways while building observation skills, teamwork, and curiosity.

In the morning, campers will take part in a Downtown Photo Quest, completing creative visual challenges that encourage them to notice details, patterns, architecture, and landmarks throughout Iowa City. We’ll explore downtown and nearby green space, incorporating movement games and team-based challenges along the way.

Midday, campers will enjoy a private pizza party at Camp Iowa City featuring Scouts Honor Pizza. This exclusive lunch experience gives campers time to relax, connect, and refuel together before the afternoon activities.

Throughout the day, campers will collaborate in small groups, practice problem-solving, and build confidence as they engage with their community in fun and meaningful ways.
