Tutored by Teachers in the Des Moines Metro

GoldCap Education is expanding tutoring services into the Des Moines metro, including West Des Moines, Clive, Grimes, Waukee, Johnston, Urbandale, and surrounding communities. We are beginning Des Moines area operations in August 2026.

We are a teacher-owned and teacher-operated education company based in Iowa, and our tutoring model is simple: great teachers know how to make a difference. We know families want more than a scripted corporate tutoring-center experience — they want someone who understands students, schools, curriculum, and confidence. Thats the GoldCap difference.

We specialize in having a team of experienced educators who understand how students learn, how schools work, and how to adjust instruction based on the student in front of them,

Why Families Choose GoldCap Education:
  •  Licensed, Experienced, Classroom Teachers
  • Personalized 1:1 Tutoring From Expert Professionals
  • Teachers with Math and Reading Specialization
  • No Intake, Registration, or Processing Fees
  • Local Teachers for Local Families – Quality You Can Trust
How It Works
  1. Complete a short intake form.
Tell us about your student, their goals, and the kind of support you are looking for.
  2. GoldCap reviews your student’s needs.
We look at subject area, grade level, location, schedule, and the type of support that may be the best fit. We may follow up for additional info.
  3. We match your student with a teacher tutor.
When we have a strong match, we connect your family with a tutor who fits your student’s needs and arrange the meeting arrangements.
  4. Tutoring begins.
Sessions may take place in public or community-based spaces, online, or through another agreed-upon arrangement.
  5. We adjust and grow together!
Tutoring should grow with the student. Our tutors use their professional judgment to adjust materials, goals, and instruction over time.
